Now that the heat is on….

Howdy Canine Pals,

Just wanted to post a reminder about summer heat and canine care now that warmer season has arrived. Feel free to grab your favorrrrite human and bring them to this blog, after all knowledge is power, grrr, woof!

So, summer tips are simple folks and paws.

1. If your person cannot sit in the car with the windows cracked or closed, then you and your person should exit the vehicle and seek shade and a cooling beverage. Dog peeps, dogs do not sweat like you do, we kind'a heat right up. Don't fall for that cracked window will do silliness, it really does not work and every second we wait for you feels like hours. In short, we are in massive pain and in grave danger while we sit in a parked car (without humans in it!) during hot seasons.

2. If your person cannot walk on the pavement bare foot without hooting and hollering, you and your person should get off the road! Take your walks early or real late so that pavement is not too hot. Dog peeps, touch the pavement with your feet or hands before walks. Our paws are tough, but not heat resistant, aoooooo!

3. We LOVE to play as much as we like to make you smile. So pick our play time careful. We will push our selves to make you happy and can get hurt in this heat. 6-7 pm is a great time to come out and play light with us. Remember to have plenty of shade and water.

4. Keep plenty of cool and fresh water on hand for us at all times. Shade + siesta time is vital too.

I feel like howling, but since I am asked to mellow down on account of everyone being sleep and all, I will stick to a short announcement and call it a night.

Our updated site and canine shopping area is now up and running. If you notice any issues, give us a howl and I will send our search and rescue team to deal with it.

Wooof! Don't think I forgot about you all. Just sticking my head through the puppy-door to let you all know that our humans are working hard on getting the shopping area completed.

It seems like we are a tad behind in this blogging business, but take our word, we are a quite techie pack here. I guess it never occurred to our human co-pilots to set up a blog before. I am not sure how your human pals are, but ours seem to do something called "multi-tasking" often, perhaps it is this multi business that got them chasing their tails.

Our play ground is open. Fur or furless, we welcome all. Just play fair and though we are all grins when we play, biting is frowned upon in our world.
